Australian Book Industry Awards 2015

 

Tickets are now on sale for The Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIA) that celebrate the best books and finest talent in the book business at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf on Thursday, 21 May 2015.

 

The worlds of literature, the arts, sports, pop culture, entertainment, commerce and politics will unite in one glamorous evening to celebrate the people behind the books Australia loves.

 

To acknowledge the 15th year of the awards, guests are invited to wear lounge suit with a sparkle of ruby as they walk the red carpet.

 

Acclaimed satirist and musician Casey Bennetto is back by popular demand to host the ABIAs. Guests will also be delighted by a high-profile surprise guest speaker while enjoying fine dining and great company.

 

When: Thursday 21 May 2015 for 6pm arrival for 6.30pm – 11.30pm

Venue: Doltone House, Pirrama Road, Pyrmont Point

Dress code: Cocktail and Lounge Suits with a sparkle of ruby red

2015 ABIA Business Awards Now Open

The 2015 ABIA Business Awards are now open.  You can nominate for the following Awards:

Publisher of the Year

Small Publisher of the year

Independent Book Retailer of the Year

Australian Online Book Retailer of the Year

National Book Retailer of the Year

Innovation Award

 

Publishers and retailers must nominate their own company to participate in the Business Awards and submit in writing (via the ABIA nominations website) why their business should win.

Nominations for the ABIA Business Awards open Wednesday, 18 March 2015, and close on Friday, 10 April 2015.
