This is an award for an audiobook with high quality production values and broad appeal, written by an Australian author in any genre, though not necessarily narrated by an Australian. It will have sold well across the Australian marketplace. The audiobook must have been published in the preceding calendar year to be eligible, irrespective of when the print or ebook was published.
Note: The audiobook is NOT eligible for the Book of the Year award.
